Challenger Baseball 2026

DINGMAN-DELAWARE LITTLE LEAGUE–Challenger Division

Baseball for kids and adults with Disabilities

“A chance for kids to come together as a team and be cheered. We
don’t count outs and we don’t count runs. Everybody plays.
Everybody scores. Everybody wins”

The Challenger Division provides individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities, ages 5 to adult an opportunity to play baseball regardless of their limitations. This affords them the opportunity during the Spring and early Summer months to experience the emotional development and fun of playing Little League Baseball. Players are assisted by “Buddies” and/or family members. This Division of the League is a supervised, volunteer based, non-competitive structured athletic program. We are sanctioned and insured by Dingman Delaware Little League. Challenger Baseball is chartered by the United States Congress as an educational program.

AII games are non-competitive and usually played on Saturday mornings. Our season will begin on   Saturday May 2nd 2026, weather permitting. All players will receive a shirt and hat along with an award and lunch at the end of the season.  We have a limited supply of baseball gloves so you might want to consider purchasing a glove for your player if they already enjoy playing baseball.
